August 17, 2026Alpha Chi Rho is very happy to announce that the 90th Chapter, Tau Chi Phi, has been Re-Instituted!
On Saturday, October 3, 2026, the National Council, Tau Chi Phi Graduate Brothers, and Brothers from other Chapters Initiated and Re-Instituted the Tau Chi Phi Chapter at Monmouth University. Twenty-seven Brothers entered the Order and the officers were duly installed. The installed officers are Anthony Tesoriero (President), Philip Pussilano (Vice President), John Terista (Ritual Officer), Brian Cosseboom (Chaplain), Francis Dige (Secretary), Steven Evanski (Treasurer), and John Connelly (Sergeant at Arms).
Additionally, the Colony pinned seven Postulants on the previous night. These Postulants will become the first Brothers Initiated by the Chapter.
After the ceremonies concluded, the newly Initiated Brothers and Graduate Brothers attended Homecoming festivities.
Brother John Terista said, “The Re-Institution was everything I wanted and more. Everything that went into making this moment happen over the last two and a half years has been so worth it. I couldn’t be more proud to be a Brother of Alpha Chi Rho, and I especially am so proud of my fellow Brothers who worked so hard to make the event so special. Thank you as well to Headquarters and the Graduate Chapter for all of your support along the way!”
Separately, Brother Steven Evanski said, “Two and a half long years ago is when the planning started. I cannot believe we finally made it. On the 3rd, I finally felt the full reward. Our Initiation was the single moment that sealed the deal and truly bonded us in Brotherhood. Between our early morning sit down breakfast before the ceremonies began, our Initiation, and then our Homecoming celebration is everything I could have asked for. All the hard work of building ourselves individually and together as men at Monmouth University within the Tau Chi Phi Chapter has created something I would have never imagined when I arrived as a freshman. I am so thankful to my Brothers for always having my back and for the hard work they have put in to make this Fraternity come to fruition. I would also like to send a huge thanks to the Alpha Chi Rho Headquarters for their continued support through the whole process. My Brothers, we did it!”
Brothers can continue to send Tau Chi Phi their congratulations if they so wish by emailing hq@alphachirho.org or by messaging the Chapter on Instagram @axp.mu.
