On February 21st, we at Penn State University hosted our annual IFC/Panhellenic Dance Marathon, commonly known as THON. THON is a 46-hour dance marathon, which over the years has become the world’s largest student run philanthropy. This year we set a new record by raising over 13.3 million dollars! As well as breaking the total record, our chapter Phi Lambda set a new personal record by raising $20,000! We accomplished this by going on various canning trips, canvassing trips, donations from friends and family, and most importantly donations from all of you. With your help we were able to break our own personal record and further benefit our cause of fighting pediatric cancer!
