DESCRIPTION:Come Celebrate with your Brothers!\n  \nFrom August 3 – 6\, 2023\, the National Fraternity will be hosting the 107th National Convention at the DoubleTree Downtown Hotel in Pittsburgh\, Pennsylvania. \nThe Fraternity and Educational Foundation are planning many engaging sessions and outings for the entire family. A full schedule will be announced very soon. \n  \nRegistration is now closed for the National Convention.\nGraduate Brother and Families Registration\nRegistration for Graduate Brothers and families will be open until July 21\, 2023. Members participating in the “Day of Service” will receive exclusive Alpha Chi Rho apparel. Information will be shared with Chapter presidents\, vice presidents\, and community service / philanthropy chairs. \n  \nProposed National Constitution and Bylaw Amendments\nAs per Article IX\, Section Two\, all Graduate Brothers in good standing received a mail ballot for proposed amendments to the National Constitution. These paper ballots must be returned by July 1\, 2023 in order to be counted as cast. Approval on each amendment shall be given by three-fourths of the ballots cast. All paper ballots are currently in transit. If you did not receive your paper ballot\, please contact the National Office. \nAdditionally\, proposed amendments to the National Bylaws will be made at the 107th National Convention per Article XIV of the National Bylaws. DESCRIPTION:The 2024 InDeed Institute will be held June 6 – 9\, 2024 at the YMCA of the Pines. Two delegates from each Chapter and three from each Colony are required to attend. \nRegistration opened on March 17\, 2024 and will close May 10\, 2024. Register your delegates here: axp.formstack.com/forms/lsi_undergraduate_registration_form \n  \nTHE CURRICULUM \nThe InDeed Institute is a curriculum that was developed for the Leadership Scholarship Institute (LSI) in 2016. There are four general large group sessions designed to address each of Alpha Chi Rho’s four Landmarks.  Small group “Chapter” meetings highlight the founding principles of Character\, Honor and Integrity.  The interactive program allows for large group discussions aided by relevant inspirational videos\, movie clips and news stories to illustrate specific elements of the landmarks. There is also a personal journal given to all participants. This allows for reflection\, note-taking\, and self and Chapter assessments to take home. \nEXPENSES \nThe Alpha Chi Rho Educational Foundation completely funds two (2) participants per Chapter (3 per Colony).  This includes lodging for three (3) nights\, eight (8) meals (Thursday Dinner; Friday & Saturday B/L/D\, and Sunday Brunch)\, nightly bonfires with s’mores\, and use of the entire campsite including recreational fields and large/small group space. All participants are responsible for their own transportation to and from the campground.  Additional delegates are welcomed\, but at the Chapter’s expense.

DESCRIPTION:Annual Meeting Details:\nDate: Saturday\, July 27\, 2024\nTime: 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM EST (the Green Lakes get-together is scheduled to start at 1)\nPlace: Reserve Shelter at Green Lakes State Park (note\, there is a $10 entry fee to enter the park)\n  \nFrom the Zeta Phi Building Corporation: \n“The Alpha Chi Rho Zeta Phi Building Corporation is responsible for maintaining the Chapter house\, providing living and common space for the active Brother. In addition to handling routine things like utilities\, collecting housing payments and managing security deposits\, the board assists and advises the undergraduates on recruitment\, asset management\, finances\, Greek success\, and meeting their obligations to Clarkson and the National Fraternity\, as well as serving as mentors to our younger Brothers. We also serve as a link between the undergraduate members and alumni. \nWe meet as a board (with the undergraduates) regularly\, and each year we hold an Annual Meeting to review our accomplishments during the year and lay out plans for the coming year. At the Annual Meeting we may bring forward motions and other new business\, and of course elect new officers. \nAs an alumnus\, you have a voice in the Building Corp and are eligible to vote on motions and elect new officers (as well as run for office)! \nWith the change in the date of Clarkson’s Reunion Weekend\, and due to recent drops in participation\, we will be switching things up this year. In an attempt to reach more alumni\, we will be bringing back an old tradition of hosting the Annual Meeting at Green Lakes State Park in Syracuse in conjunction with a Potsdam area wide Greek get-together (which hopefully provides an additional draw). The thought is that this will be a more convenient venue and not be limited to the five-year classes that typically attend reunions. \nThat said\, we may not be able to offer a virtual attendance option\, but if we can do so\, I will send out meeting details later. \nThe following positions are up for election this year: Vice President\, Secretary\, Director 4\, Director 5\, and Director 6. \nEach of these positions is a two-year term. The positions are voluntary. We generally meet once a month for an hour\, with some additional time spent meeting with undergraduate counterparts\, so the time commitment is not great.
